Anita Zahn describes working with Stokowski and Robert Edmond Jones on a Christmas program at New York City Center in the 1940s with the Collegiate Chorale and Robert Shaw. She describes meeting with Stokowski to plan the program, the costumes, and staging; and Stokowski's use of live animals from the Bronx Zoo in the dress rehearsal for the program. She describes teaching Gloria Vanderbilt as a child and then meeting her as Stokowski's wife and discusses Isadora Duncan, Leon Barzin, and Victor Seroff.
